Abstract:Societal Impact StatementConventional pest management measures release large amounts of chemical or plastic pollutants into the environment. Nicotiana benthamiana, a commonly employed laboratory model plant, demonstrated remarkable lethality and attractiveness towards several important Hemiptera and Thysanoptera insect pests.
