“…The stem and root bark of U. pumila have been used as an anti‐edema, anti‐mastitis, and anti‐inflammation agent in traditional medicine (Wang et al, 2006). Many bioactive flavonoids including catechin and epicatechin, the main constitutional units of condensed tannins, have been identified from the extracts of U. pumila (Cheng et al, 2020).
