An organic multilayer photoelectrochemical cell was fabricated by sequential vacuum deposition of hydroxyaluminum phthalocyanine (PcA1OH) and hydroxyaluminum tetraphenylporphyrin (TPPA1OH). Absorption and action spectra of the NESA/PcA1OH/TPPA1OH/I3 /I /Pt cell cover the entire visible spectrum up to 900 rim. In the reverse deposition sequence, only NESA/TPPA1OH/PcA1OH/I3 /I /Pt photoelectrochemical cell with very thin organic layers showed a sensitization effect. The cosensitization effects are probably due to the porosity of the organic thin films, allowing the contact of the electrolyte with each semiconductor. ) unless CC License in place (see abstract). ecsdl.org/site/terms_use address.
