Diagnostic characters for all 11 valid genera of Euchromadorinae are presented with taxonomic key on the basis of morphology of male copulatory apparatus, cuticular pattern, amphideal fovea, and buccal onchia. The key to the species of Trochamus spp. is also constructed with the description of T. timmi sp. n. from the mud-flat of Sundarban, India. The newly described species is different from other Trochamus spp. on the basis of the appearance of lateral differentiation of cuticle, long curved spicule, simple gubernaculum and the presence of pre-cloacal modification in male.

Two new free-living marine nematode species of the genus Sabatieria de Rouville, 1903 are described from the Southern Ocean using morphological and molecular data. Sabatieria brevicaudata sp. nov. is characterized by body length 1476–1740 μm, short cephalic setae, 13–24% corresponding body diameter long, lateral differentiation of body cuticle with only slightly coarser punctations, spiral amphidial fovea with 3 turns, spicules arcuated and 1.3–1.6 cloacal body diameter long, slightly arcuated gubernacular apophyses, and twelve precloacal supplements, in the form of small pores. Sabatieria multipora sp. nov. is characterized by body length 2139–2324 μm, short cephalic setae (4–7 μm long, 30–40% corresponding body diameter long), cuticle with lateral differentiation of distinctly coarser punctations extending from anterior edge of amphidial fovea to anterior of intestine and in the tail region, spiral amphidial fovea with 3 turns, males with spicules 1.9–2.0 cloacal body diameter long, seventeen fine tubular precloacal supplements with distance between adjacent supplements increasing towards anterior, and with curved gubernacular apophyses. We obtained 18S rDNA and 28S rDNA sequences from the two new species, which are both closely related to other species of Sabatieria. Our analyses also show that several genera of Comesomatidae Filipjev, 1918 do not form monophyletic clades.

Two new species of free-living marine nematodes, Odontophora odontophoroides sp. nov. and Parabathylaimus jare sp. nov., are described from the coastal sand of Langhovde, Lützow-Holm Bay, Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica. Odontophora odontophoroides sp. nov. is the only species in Odontophora Bütschli, 1874 that has bicuspidate odontia. Odontophora odontophoroides sp. nov. is similar to species in Odontophoroides Boucher and Helléouët, 1977 and Synodontium Cobb, 1920 in having bicuspidate odontia, but differs in having a didelphic reproductive system in females. Parabathylaimus jare sp. nov. differs from congeners in the unjointed inner labial and cephalic sensilla, the outer labial sensilla three-jointed in males and two-jointed in females, the position of the amphids, the shorter spicules, and the conical tail without long subterminal setae. Modified generic diagnoses and keys to species are included for Odontophora and Parabathylaimus De Coninck and Schuurmans Stekhoven, 1933. A new combination, Parabathylaimus arthropappus (Wieser andHopper, 1967) comb. nov., is established.
