A New Method for Polynomial Coefficient Extraction Applied to Harmonic Distortion Calculation

Abstract: A new method for the extraction of coefficients in an nth-order polynomial function is presented. The method may be used as an efficient tool to calculate any kth-order harmonic distortion in semiconductor devices for any input amplitude, without having to perform Fourier or AC analysis.
