A new method for the determination of a crimping degree of textured PES filament yarns

Abstract: In the paper, a new method by which it is possible to define the crimping of the textured filament PES yarns is presented. The method is based on the flow analysis of the force-elongation function. POY multifilament polyester yarns, having the fineness of 167f36x1 dtex were analyzed.
