The essence of the pneumo-mechanical spinning method lies in the transformation of the tape into a discrete stream of fibers, in the formation of a wedge-shaped ribbon from this stream in the form of an open end in the groove of the spinning chamber and in the formation of yarn from the ribbon by torsion, which is removed from the chamber and wound into a bobbin. Yarn obtained on a rotor spinning machine differs in structure from yarn from ring spinning machines, it has a lower breaking load and is produced with a higher filling twist.
