A new species ofEutarsopolipus(Acari: Podapolipidae) fromScaritessp. (Coleoptera: Carabidae) from Argentina

Abstract: Eutarsopolipus weatherbyi n. sp, (Acari: Podapolipidae) is described from the carabid beetle, Scarites sp. from Argentina and compared with E. ochoai and E. scariteus in the oehoai group of Eutarsopolipus. This is the first record of this mite genus from Scarites in South America.
