A new theory of development of force and torque in variable reluctance stepping motors

Abstract: AImtrtet. This paper pre~nts a new theory of force and torque production in doubly slotted magnetic structures encountered in variable reluctance machines. This general theory is applicable to any point on the B-H curve of iron.
