Abstract:A double convex combination matrix inequality arising in control and filtering problems of dynamic systems is revisited in this paper. Focus is placed on comparisons of conservatism caused by some commonlyused sufficient conditions which ensure the validity of the double convex combination matrix inequality. It is found that the conservatism of analysis and synthesis results of the control and filtering problems for a large class of systems, such as polytopic systems, parameter varying systems as well as Takag… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
