Abstract:The Random Variable Transformation (RVT) technique has been applied in recent years to analyze a wide variety of dynamic models formulated via random differential equations. The applicability of this technique has usually been focused on problems where an explicit solution of the underlying deterministic problem is available. This fact limits the usefulness of the RVT method. This note aims to point out that the RVT technique can be successfully applied without this requirement by showing a wider range of pote… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
