Abstract:Background: Melanoma is a serious form of skin cancer that begins in melanocytes. Metastasis, somatic mutations and gene expression profiles are important prognostic factors for melanoma patients. However, accurate prediction of patient prognosis remains an unsolved problem for the disease.
