A Novel Case of Cytomegalovirus Pneumonia in an Acquired Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura Patient Treated With Rituximab

Abstract: Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is thrombotic microangiopathy that is universally fatal if not promptly recognized and treated. Standard treatment includes plasma exchange (PLEX) therapy and immunosuppression.
