Abstract: This research paper introduces the Double Stator (DS) Hybrid Excitation (HE) Halbach Permanent Magnet (HPM) Flux Switching (FS) machine. The machine construction and its optimization specifically designed for electric vehicle (EV)/hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) traction applications are investigated.
