A Novel EBG Dual-band Antenna Structure for X-band and WLAN Applications

Abstract: This paper presents a novel dual-band dielectric electromagnetic band gap (EBG) antenna that operates in both wireless local area network (WLAN) and X-band satellite applications. The proposed structure comprises new double EBG layers placed on the top face and fed by a coaxial probe.
