A novel FFT/IFFT based peak-to-average power reduction method for OFDM communication systems using tone reservation

Abstract: One of the main drawbacks of OFDM systems is the high Peak-to-Average Power ratio, which could limit transmission efficiency and efficient use of HPA. In this paper we present a modified tone reservation scheme for PAPR reduction using FFT iterations to generate the tones.
