A novel machine-learning tool to identify community risk for firearm violence: The Firearm Violence Vulnerability Index

Abstract: The Firearm Violence Vulnerability Index (FVVI) is a novel machine-learning tool to predict shooting incidents based on population characteristics. FVVI can fill gaps in firearm assault data, while also helping to inform prevention strategies. #FirearmViolence #InjuryPrevention
