A novel mathematical mechanism of the critical endpoint generation

Abstract: We develop a novel model of the QCD matter critical endpoint by matching the deconfinement phase transition curve with the nil line of the bag surface tension coefficient. As a result, this leads to a new structure of the leading singularities of isobaric partition, and in contrast to all previous studies of such mod els, the deconfined phase in our approach is defined not by an essential singularity of the isobaric partition function but its simple pole. As an unexpected result, we find out that the first ord… Show more

“…For a certain value of the baryon chemical potential µ, the reduced CST is positive below this curve (Σ(T < T Σ , µ) > 0) and is negative above it (Σ(T > T Σ , µ) < 0). It is worth to note that, as was indicated in works [23,26,27], the negative values of Σ do not contradict the fundamental physical ideas. Indeed, CST in the grand canonical ensemble determines the surface free energy of a cluster f surf = e surf − T s surf , where e surf and s surf are the surface energy and the entropy, respectively.…”

“…The exact solution in М2 was found in [27]. Like the case of М1, the phase structure of М2 includes the hadronic phase and the phases of QGP and QGL.…”
