Abstract:Parallel Optical Burst Switching (POBS) is a variant of Optical Burst Switching (OBS) which is proposed as a new optical switching strategy for Ultra-Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (U-DWDM) to support the enormous bandwidth demand of the next generation Internet.
