A Novel Method for the Synthesis of Oxazolocoumarin Derivatives.

Abstract

Electrolytic oxidation of 7-hydroxycoumarin derivatives (I) in an acetonitrile solution using an undivided cell results in formation of the linearly fused oxazolocoumarins (III).
