A novel Michelson interferometer of high interference degree with the application of bi‐direction erbium‐doped fiber amplifier

Abstract: In this paper, a novel Michelson fiber high‐interference optical structure has been proposed. When an optical amplifier is applied into the interference optical path, the signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) of the signal light in the optical path is reduced by the amplifier generates amplifier spontaneous emission (ASE) noise.
