“…Also, multiple infections of weeds by begomoviruses can lead to recombination events that could originate new BGVs species, as this is a common mechanism used by these viruses ( Padidam, Sawyer & Fauquet, 1999 ; Jovel et al, 2004 ; Rojas et al, 2005b ; Graham, Martin & Roye, 2009 ; Tavares et al, 2012 ; Ferro et al, 2017 ).
