A novel omega-shaped microstrip slow-wave structure for 60-GHz traveling-wave tube

Abstract: In this paper, a novel microstrip meander-line slow-wave structure (SWS) is proposed for using in V-band traveling-wave tube (TWT). The new omega-shaped micro strip meander-line slow-wave structure has higher interaction impedance by contrasting analysis of the conven-tional U shaped microstrip meander-line SWS.
