A novel PET tracer 18F-deoxy-thiamine: synthesis, metabolic kinetics, and evaluation on cerebral thiamine metabolism status

Abstract: Background: Some neuropsychological diseases are associated with abnormal thiamine metabolism, including Korsakoff-Wernicke syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease.
