“…In our investigation, we employed non-polluting air 27 . Two reactions involving carbon dioxide and calcium oxide happen exclusively at high levels of humidity (over 70%), which don't happen in quasi environments; consequently, the by-products remain insignificant in moderate processes 28 . As a result, even when CO2-containing exhaust gases were employed, such a secondary effect would've been insignificant under the circumstances of this study 27 .…”

“…At present, hundreds of sulfur dioxide emission control technologies have been developed and applied all over the world. These technologies can be generally divided into three categories according to their position in the combustion process, namely, desulfurization before combustion (fuel desulfurization), desulfurization during combustion (furnace desulfurization), and desulfurization after combustion (flue gas desulfurization). , There are three ways of flue gas desulfurization, namely, dry desulfurization, semi-dry desulfurization, and wet desulfurization. Semi-dry circulating fluidized bed flue gas desulfurization (CFB-FGD) combines the characteristics of dry desulfurization and wet desulfurization. It has the advantages of high desulfurization efficiency, low equipment cost, and small corrosion to equipment and shows great application potential.…”

“…In the present works, high‐temperature calcination had been verified as a useful way to remove the hemihydrate calcium sulfite in SGDA. The treated SGDA is used to prepare autoclaved brick and roadbed material, which has good application prospect 14,15 . But this method would consume more resource and has low efficiency, which is not desirable for energy conservation and emissions reduction.…”

And the consumption in autoclaved brick and roadbed material is somewhat low, which cannot solve the large-scale utilization problem.…”
