A novel second-order nonstandard finite difference method for solving one-dimensional autonomous dynamical systems

Abstract: In this work, a novel second-order nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) method that preserves simultaneously the positivity and local asymptotic stability of one-dimensional autonomous dynamical systems is introduced and analyzed.
