Abstract: Herbosomes have been modified liposomes that can encapsulate botanical extracts and medicinal substances, improving stability, bioavailability, and targeted administration in herbal medicine. A ribosome or similar drug delivery system can improve the absorption rate and amount of drug that cross the lipoidal biofilm, thus overcoming bioavailability issues.
