A numerical solution for a closed die forging process

Abstract: One of the manufacturing processes that can be permanent improved is plastic deformation of metallic materials, as incorporating reserves on the manufacture of products with reduced material and energy consumptions. This paper presents finite element analysis for a closed die forging process, showing the stresses, strains and temperature into deformed part and stresses in the working tools.
