Abstract: Fluorescence guided surgery (FGS) facilitates real time tumor delineation and is being rapidly established clinically. FGS efficacy is tied to the utilized dye and provided tumor contrast over healthy tissue. Apoptosis, a cancer hallmark, is a desirable target for tumor delineation.
