A phase‐shifting frequency discriminator employing dielectric resonator

Abstract: 2-cm-long sinc-sampled gratings with Bragg wavelengths of 1550 nm comprising 4-, 8-, and 16 wavelength channels, respectively. Reflection is completely suppressed out of the reflection band. For a given N c , the reflectivity of all channels is uniform. The reflectivity is decreased from 1 to 0.974 and linewidth is decreased from 237 pm to 56 pm when the number of channels is increased from 4 to 16 and the other grating parameters remain unchanged.
