Abstract: Dynamic recrystallization can have a strong impact on texture development during the deformation of polycrystalline materials at high temperature, in particular for those with strong viscoplastic anisotropy such as ice. Owing to this anisotropy, recrystallization is essential for ensuring strain compatibility.
