The virtual teacher, as a product of the artificial intelligence era, can provide effective teaching services in the English education sink of colleges and universities. This paper builds up an intelligent interaction system for virtual teachers and proposes a human-computer cooperative mechanism for English education based on it. The function of the virtual teacher system is achieved through the use of human body movement and face reconstruction technology. The depth data of the human body is collected, a dynamic light projection algorithm reconstructs the 3D model of the human body movement, and the posture of the human body is weighted and matched by a multi-feature fusion algorithm. Kalman filter is used to obtain stable face expression data, and the Blendshape model is driven to generate expressions. Subsequently, the system application practice is carried out, and the reconstruction accuracy of various types of facial expressions of this paper’s face reconstruction technology is more than 90%, and the reconstructed human action matches the actual action to a high degree. The application of the human-computer cooperative mechanism of this paper’s English teaching effect is achieved by setting up experimental and control classes to carry out an empirical analysis of English teaching. The experimental class utilizing the human-computer synergistic mechanism shows a significant increase in the dimensions of motivation and learning experience compared with the experimental class (P<0.05).
