A possibility of polaron vortex magnet of polypyrrole prepared in virus liquid crystal

Abstract

Polypyrrole‐biological composites were synthesized by electrochemical polymerization and chemical–electrochemical sequential polymerization as a double‐step polymerization using the fd phage of a linear‐shaped virus matrix that is safe for humans. The composites obtained exhibited fibrous and dendritic structures similar to neural networks. Electron spin resonance (ESR) revealed antiferromagnetic behavior against Pauli's paramagnetism of conductive polymers. The composites exhibited a structure similar to that of neural networks and exhibited helical antiferromagnetism‐like behavior, which is created by the charge carrier “chiralions” as helical polarons of the conducting polymer in helical form, suggesting a polaron vortex magnet.
