Abstract: Due to the high path loss of non-line-of-sight (NLOS) ultraviolet communications (UVC) channel, pulse modulation schemes, such as on-off keying (OOK) and M-ary pulse-position modulation (PPM), and photon-counting receivers are commonly adopted.
