Abstract:Background: Vulvar cancer is a relatively rare gynecologic malignant disease. The majority of these tumors are vulvar squamous cell carcinoma (VSCC). There are two distinct aetiopathogenic pathways leading to VSCC: human papillomavirus (HPV)-dependent and HPV-independent.
