Abstract:The Great Green Wall (GGW) initiative, which started in 2007 and is still in development as of 2024, aims to combat desertification and enhance sustainability over 8000 km across Africa’s Sahel-Sahara region, encompassing 11 key countries and 7 countries associated with the initiative.
