A probabilistic estimation approach for the failure forecast method using Bayesian inference

Abstract: Positive-feedback mechanisms such as fatigue induce a self-accelerating behavior, captured by models displaying infinite limit-state asymptotics, collectively known as the failure forecast method (FFM).
