A Projective Approach to Electromagnetic Propagation in Complex Environments

Abstract: Abstract-High frequency methods resort to numerical ray tracing for application to complex environments. A new method based on the geometrical projection performed by a ray-congruence has been developed as a preconditioning of the ray tracing procedure. It builds a visibility tree, i.e., a database, storing information on all possible ray paths inside a scenario. The method gives a solution to a class of open problems of ray tracing techniques: ray missing, double (multiple) counting, termination criterion, ca… Show more

“…Furthermore, 11.68% time reduction for the inclusion of QET optimization technique and 31.55% reduction for the inclusion of both QET and NNF techniques. Figure 6 also shows a comparison of AVL tree with Projective Scheme (PS) technique [23] and Astigmatic Beam Tracing (ABT) technique [24]. The PS technique has been used BSP tree and ABT technique has been used a beam tree.…”

“…Each recipient has access to the message, however only a part of the message can be read by each. In case of SET protocol, the customer sends the order information (OI) and payment information (PI) using dual signature [18]. The merchant can only see the OI and the bank can only access PI.…”

“…The model contains the vector Hopkins formula and the modified resist profile model of fast OPC. The vector Hopkins formula is deduced by using Vector Electromagnetic Theory [7][8][9][10][11] and Waveguide Models [12]. The new formula contains the incidence angles and the azimuth angles of off-axis illumination, which is different from the traditional scalar Hopkins formula.…”
