A Promising Approach to Quantifying Pteropod Eggs Using Image Analysis and Machine Learning

Abstract: A newly developed protocol to semi-automate egg counting in Southern Ocean shelled (thecosome) pteropods using image analysis software and machine learning algorithms was developed and tested for accuracy.
