A prospective multicenter evaluation of direct molecular detection of blood stream infection from a clinical perspective

Abstract: BackgroundRapid diagnosis and appropriate antimicrobial therapy are of major importance to decrease morbidity and mortality in patients with blood stream infections (BSI).
