A quantitative analysis of translation strategies used in the translation of the International Classification for Nursing Practice into Polish

Abstract: This article discusses the standardisation and translation of the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP). The material used in the analysis is the ICNP in translation into Polish. The terms are grouped into the following categories: cross-cultural equivalent, terminological equivalent, descriptive equivalent, calques and borrowings, neologism.
