A quantitative cytochemical method for ornithine decarboxylase activity.

Abstract: Although decarboxylases, particularly ornithine decarboxylase, are of considerable importance in cell metabolism, it has been impossible to demonstrate their activity histochemically, as this depends on trapping carbon dioxide at neutral pH values.
