A queueing-inventory system with perishable items and retrial of customers

Abstract: In this paper, we consider a continuous review perishable (s, Q) inventory system in which the customers arrive according to a Poisson process. Service time and lead time are assumed to be independent exponential distributions. A customer who arrives during server busy or stock out period either enters into an orbit of infinite capacity or leaves the system.
