Abstract:Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a common rheumatic disease in children and adolescents. MEFV (Mediterranean fever, FMF) gene mutations are observed in systemic-onset JIA, that in addition to increasing the risk of JIA development, worsen the disease prognosis.
