Abstract:Calciphylaxis is a serious complication in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients and requires a multidisciplinary approach. Dialysis patients are the most affected, especially those who are obese and diabetic, have liver diseases and autoimmune diseases, or are on systemic glucocorticoids.
