Abstract: Hearing loss (HL) is one of the most common complications of the treatment in head and neck oncology. Most cases of HL are due to the ototoxicity of platinum-based chemotherapy (PBC) -resulting usually in a symmetric bilateral sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) -or radiotherapy.
