A rare cause of anaemia (2008: 3b)

Abstract: Inflammatory fibroid polyp is a rare benign lesion of the gastrointestinal tract, frequently seen in the antrum of the stomach. We report a case of a 50-year-old man with a large inflammatory fibroid polyp and located in the cardia of the stomach. Corresponding computed tomography, endoscopy and histology findings are discussed.
