A Rare Cause of Neonatal Respiratory Distress: Congenital Stenosis of Piriform Aperture

Abstract: Congenital Nasal Pyriform Aperture Stenosis (CNPAS), is a very rare cause of neonatal upper airway obstruction [1]. Its prevalence remains unknown (a few isolated cases were described in literature). It can be isolated or sometimes associated to other midline defects.
