A Rare Variation of Internal Carotid Artery: Coiling

Abstract: The internal carotid artery is terminal branch of the communican carotid artery and runs a straight course to the base of the skull without branching. It was reported anomalies and variations in the course of the internal carotid artery in literature. These anomalies were classified as elongnation, kinking and coiling.
