A reinvenção da Semana e o mito da descoberta do Brasil

Abstract: RESUMO A consagração da Semana de Arte Moderna pela história cultural é fenômeno que data da década de 1940. O artigo analisa a reinvenção discursiva da Semana por meio dos escritos de Tristão de Athayde, Lourival Gomes Machado, Luís Martins, Ruben Navarra, Robert C. Smith e Nestor Victor, entre outros críticos.
